Last night my little brother called me to tell me that they’re reading “My Name is Jason. Mine Too.” in his English class.
He didn’t even say Happy Birthday. But after saying that, he didn’t have to.

I guess part of the ultimate gift as a writer may be how much your words of wisdom, have impacted not just minds of adults, but also serve as a stimulus to enrich the knowledge of our youth. Not to mention, it must be a fairly awesome feeling to know that like many other great authors before you, you have now reached the point in your career to become part of a ‘academic curriculum’. There is also another whole level of pride that we all have for your gifts that you have provided to us not only on your birthday, but everyday for years to come.
We love you,
